Desktop and mobile: Setup and configuration happen on desktop, but the personal AI assistant is used throughout the day on mobile for quick chat, notes and reminders. Sample screens on a computer and a phone, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Tethra sets up a personal AI assistant inside your own Cloudflare account. Chat, memory, tasks, notes and scheduled reminders live in your storage, not on a third-party platform. A guided setup connects your account, deploys the pieces and gives you a private app you can install on your phone.
It is made for developers and technically capable people who like hosted assistants but do not want their data and memory held elsewhere. You choose the AI model, see what is stored, and can export or wipe everything. No telemetry is sent to us.
Unlike a bare open-source repository, Tethra adds a dashboard for updates, backups, usage and memory review, so running your own agent does not mean maintaining it by hand.

- Why this name
- A tether keeps something close and attached to you. Tethra suggests an assistant that stays tied to your account and does not drift to someone else's servers.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Guided one-step deploy
Sign in to Cloudflare, approve a scoped token and Tethra deploys the agent to your account. No servers to configure.

Memory you can read and edit
See what the agent remembers, correct it, pin facts or delete entries. Memory stays in your own storage.

Tasks, notes and reminders
Ask the agent to capture a task or note, or to remind you later. Scheduled reminders run from your own account.

PricingAI proposal
The material gives no competitor prices. Tiers are a starting point to test; the free tier relies on the claim that the system runs on Cloudflare's free tier. Cloudflare and model costs are paid by the user.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Users run a private assistant for themselves, so use does not expose Tethra to others. Reach comes from developer content, open-source communities and word of mouth.
- Do they become customers?
- Interest is shown by a repository gaining 764 stars in 2 days (verified). Test whether stargazers will pay for updates, backups and memory tools over deploying it themselves.
- First customers
- Individual developers who already have a Cloudflare account and are interested in self-hosted AI tools.
- Where to reach them
- GitHub community: Offer a companion dashboard for people starring or forking self-hosted agent repositories, with a clear link from discussions.
- Developer forums: Post a walkthrough of private deployment and memory review in self-hosting and Cloudflare communities.
- Build-in-public posts: Share setup demos and a public roadmap on developer social channels to collect waitlist signups.
- First milestone
- Fifty waitlist signups from developers, then ten paying Pro users within 60 days of launch.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformDepends on Cloudflare's APIs, limits and terms. Free-tier limits could change or a personal agent could exceed them quickly.
- CommercialThe open-source repo is free and popular. Users may deploy it themselves, so paid value must come from updates, memory tools and backups.
- TechnicalDeploying into a user's account needs a scoped token. Broad permissions or mistakes could damage their resources.
- AIStored memory may hold wrong or sensitive facts the agent repeats. Users need clear review and deletion.
- Intellectual propertyThe existing repository's license may limit building a paid product on it. Check before reuse or write from scratch.
