About this appAI proposal
Handnote turns a prospect's public profile details and your own notes into a short landing page made for that one person. Paste a profile link or its text, pick the offer, and get a page with their name, their role and the problem that fits them. Send the link in your cold email.
It is built for reps and founders at small and mid-sized companies who do cold outreach and cannot spend an hour on each lead. Today the choice is a generic email or a hand-built page for a few key accounts. Handnote aims to make the second option cheap enough for every lead.
You review every page before it goes out. Handnote marks which facts came from the profile and which you added, so nothing invented reaches a prospect. You also see who opened the page and what they clicked.
- Tagline
- Every cold email deserves a page with the reader's name on it.

- Why this name
- A handnote is a short personal message written for one person. The name says the page is made for the reader, even when many are made at once.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Page from a profile
Paste a profile link or its text. Handnote pulls role, company and focus into a draft page that speaks to that person.

What it could be worthEstimate

Worth about
$194,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Each prospect receives a personal page link. A small 'Made with Handnote' footer links to a sign-up page, and prospects who are themselves sellers may notice the approach.
- Do they become customers?
- Prospects are mostly buyers, not sellers, so few will convert. Test how many page visitors click the footer and how many of those start a trial, per 100 pages sent.
- First customers
- Founders and first sales hires at B2B software companies with under 20 staff, who send under 100 cold emails a day themselves and have no sales operations person.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and Indie Hackers: Show the founder-style story of a personal page per lead, with real before and after reply rates from early users.
- Founder-led sales communities: Offer free pages to members in exchange for feedback and permission to share reply-rate results.
- Direct outreach with Handnote: Send founders a Handnote page about their own company, which shows the product in use.
- First milestone
- Ten teams send 50 or more pages each in 30 days, and at least five pay after the trial.
Why people already pay for this
- AI inferenceSales teams need personalized approaches to convert cold leads to paying customers, and the founder is testing this solution on their own prospects with promising results.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformProfile sites may forbid automated collection of their data. The first version relies on pasted text, which adds a step and may weaken the pitch of full automation.
- RegulatoryPages and tracking built on personal data about named people may fall under privacy and anti-spam rules in some regions. Opt-out and data deletion need design from day one.
- AIGenerated copy may state wrong facts about a prospect. Source tags and mandatory review reduce this but slow down large batches.
- CommercialThe only evidence is one unverified founder post. Reps may find personal pages do not lift replies enough to pay for, and outreach tools may add the same feature.
- TechnicalProspect pages sent in cold email can hurt sender or domain reputation if they look like spam, so link and domain setup must be handled carefully.
