About this appAI proposal
Quietfind is a paid search engine for people who want results without ads or tracking. It keeps no search history tied to you, and you can pay without handing over a name or a card tied to your identity.
One account works on every browser and phone through the web app, with no browser lock-in. Settings and blocked sites sync in encrypted form, so the server cannot read them.
Instead of feeling like a donation, each plan adds visible tools: short AI summaries that cite their sources, site ranking you control, and saved search filters. Forum posts in the evidence say people would pay about $2-3 a month; that is a public claim, not a verified figure.

PricingAI proposal
Basic follows the $2-3 a month users cite (a public claim). Plus sits below Kagi's verified $4 to $12 plans. The material gives no Brave price beyond that claim; tiers are a starting point to test.

$194,000

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Reaches customers through privacy communities, content and word of mouth. Search is used privately, so the product has no built-in sharing loop.
- Do they become customers?
- Test whether privacy-minded people in forums will start a trial and pay after 14 days, and whether private payment is the deciding reason.
- First customers
- Privacy-focused individuals who already pay for a VPN or private email and use more than one device.
- Where to reach them
- Privacy forums: Post a transparent write-up of the privacy design and open a waitlist in threads where people discuss paid search.
- Privacy tool newsletters: Offer a founding-member price to readers of VPN and private email newsletters.
- First milestone
- Fifty paying founding members at $3 a month, with at least ten paying through a private method.
Why people already pay for this

- Public claimExisting premium search products lack private payment options
- Public claimBrave Search does not support private payments
- Public claimUsers perceive insufficient value proposition in current premium search offerings
- Public claimCross-device functionality is important to premium search users

RisksAI inference
- CommercialLicensed search results cost money per query. At about $3 a month, margin may be thin for heavy users.
- RegulatoryAnonymous or private payments can raise payment compliance and fraud-screening limits that conflict with the privacy promise.
- TechnicalA PWA cannot easily become the default search engine in every browser, which may weaken daily use.
- AIAI summaries may state wrong things; citations and an off switch reduce but do not remove this.
- DataPrivacy claims must be provable. Provider logs may expose queries unless contracts forbid it.
