Desktop and mobile: Email management requires checking messages on the go but also handling team roles, setup, and bulk operations at a desk. Sample screens on a computer and a phone, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Quillbox gives you one private home for the three kinds of email people usually split across vendors: your own address with forwarding, newsletters to subscribers, and transactional messages sent from your app. Encryption is on by default, not a setting you hunt for.
It is made for individuals and small teams who care about who can read their mail and want fewer accounts to manage. Connect a custom domain once and use it for all three jobs under one set of rules.
Instead of stitching together a mailbox, a newsletter tool and a sending API, Quillbox keeps one contact list, one suppression list and one privacy policy across everything, so nothing is copied between vendors.

- Why this name
- A quill is a classic writing tool and a box holds things safely. Together they suggest writing that stays private. Two plain, pronounceable words.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Encrypted by default
Stored mail and contact lists are encrypted at rest, with optional end-to-end encryption for chosen aliases.

Worth about

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Newsletters and subscribe pages carry a small 'sent privately with Quillbox' line and link, and transactional emails can carry the same footer on the free tier.
- Do they become customers?
- Recipients see the footer but may not run a domain or newsletter. Test whether newsletter authors and app builders among recipients click through and sign up.
- First customers
- Independent newsletter writers and small software makers in the EU who already run a custom domain and pay for a newsletter tool plus a sending service.
- Where to reach them
- Privacy and indie maker forums: Post a migration guide for moving a newsletter and app email to one private setup, and answer questions.
- Direct outreach: Contact EU newsletter writers by email with a free import of their list and a domain check.
- First milestone
- Ten paying customers among EU newsletter writers who move both their newsletter and app email within 60 days.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalInbound mail, forwarding and deliverability are hard. New sending domains and IPs can land in spam, and forwarding can break SPF and DMARC checks.
- RegulatoryHandling personal data and subscriber lists brings GDPR duties, abuse rules and anti-spam law. Spam abuse could get sending IPs blocked.
- CommercialUsers may like three familiar tools more than one new one. Bundled depth may trail each specialist.
- DataEnd-to-end encryption limits search and recovery. Lost keys mean lost mail, so the product must make this clear.
- AIThe material gives only public claims of demand, plus GitHub stars as an inference. Real willingness to pay is untested.
