ScreensConcept
Desktop and mobile: Agents set up and manage the listings site and pipeline at a desk, but add properties and handle lead alerts on their phone in the field. Sample screens on a computer and a phone, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Doorplate lets a real estate agent or small brokerage publish a professional listings website without a developer. Add properties by hand or import them from a listing feed or CSV file, pick a look, and go live on your own domain.
Every listing page carries an enquiry form. Each enquiry lands in a built-in contact list with the property it came from, a status and a follow-up date. No separate CRM to connect and no spreadsheet to copy into.
It is built for people who sell and manage homes, not people who build sites. Setup is a guided checklist, the site works well on phones, and the contact list is deliberately small so it actually gets used.

- Why this name
- A doorplate is the small sign by a front door that says who is inside. It suits an agent's own site: a clear name on the door, easy to say and spell.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Guided site setup
Answer a few questions about your area, brand and listings. Doorplate builds the pages and gives you a launch checklist.

What it could be worthEstimate

Worth about
$194,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Each agent's site and listing pages are shared with buyers and sellers through links, social posts and messages. Pages carry a small 'Built with Doorplate' footer on the lower tier.
- Do they become customers?
- Visitors are mostly buyers, who will not pay. Other agents seeing a footer might. Test whether footer clicks lead to signups, and whether brokerages adopt it for their agents.
- First customers
- Independent agents and brokerages of two to ten agents in one region, who have no site of their own or a dated one, and sell residential property.
- Where to reach them
- Local agent groups: Join regional agent communities and offer to build a free site for a few members in exchange for feedback.
- Brokerage owners: Contact small brokerage owners directly with a demo site built from their current listings.
- Short demo videos: Post a launch-in-minutes walkthrough in places where agents ask for website help.
- First milestone
- Ten agents or three small brokerages in one region paying for a month, with at least one enquiry captured on each site.

RisksAI inference
- DataListing feed access depends on local boards and their rules, and may require membership or approval. The first version may have to rely on CSV and manual entry.
- CommercialAgents may already have a site from their brokerage or a generic builder. Switching must feel easier than staying, and demand for a standalone site is unproven.
- TechnicalServing many custom domains with good search ranking and speed takes careful work on rendering, caching and certificates.
- RegulatoryStoring enquirer contact details brings privacy and consent duties that differ by country, and listing displays may have board rules.
- CommercialThe only evidence is one open-source repository's star count and a public claim about it. That shows interest, not willingness to pay.
