ScreensConcept
Desktop and mobile: Developers use phones to check agent progress and reply from anywhere, but the agent runs on their machine; both places are essential to the workflow. Sample screens on a computer and a phone, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Pocketdesk connects a web and mobile app to the Claude Code or Codex session already running on your own laptop, workstation or cloud sandbox. When the agent stops to ask a question, your phone tells you. You read what it did, answer, and it carries on.
The agent stays in your environment, with your files, tools and subscription, rather than in a rented remote VM. You can talk your answer instead of typing it, and you can optionally save progress as git commits so work survives a closed laptop.
It is for developers who already use coding agents and lose time when they step away from the desk. This is a proposal: the demand signals come from public posts, and the design is untested.

- Why this name
- It says the point plainly: the desk setup you already have, reachable from your pocket. Two common words, easy to say, with no link to existing agent tools.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Your machine, not a remote VM
A small local connector links your running agent session to the app. Code and tools stay where they are.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Users invite others. A developer can share a read-only or reply-enabled session link with a teammate, who opens it in a browser to see progress or answer the agent's question.
- Do they become customers?
- Teammates who open a link are developers who likely use agents too and could sign up. Test how many shared-link viewers connect their own machine within a week.
- First customers
- Solo developers and small-team engineers who use Claude Code daily on their own machine and often leave sessions running while away from the desk.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and Reddit: Show the working demo in threads where developers discuss stalled agents and remote VMs.
- Developer Discord and X: Share short clips of answering an agent by voice from a phone, in agent-focused communities.
- First milestone
- Fifty developers connect a real session, and at least ten pay for Pro within 60 days.
Why people already pay for this

RisksAI inference
- PlatformAgent vendors may change their SDK, terms or add their own remote access, which could break the connector or remove the reason to use a third party.
- CommercialOther tools already offer a free tier and a $20 monthly plan. Developers may find the free 10 sessions enough, or prefer to build a simple remote setup themselves.
- TechnicalReliable relaying through home networks, sleeping laptops and flaky mobile connections is hard, and a missed alert defeats the product.
- DataTranscripts and diffs may contain private code and secrets. Developers will want clear limits on what is stored and encrypted in transit.
- AIVoice transcription errors could send a wrong instruction to an agent that can edit code, so replies need a confirm step.
