ScreensConcept
Desktop and mobile: Engineers configure agent identities and audit logs at their desk, but need to approve credential requests and revoke access from their phone. Sample screens on a computer and a phone, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Keyring Hand is a secrets manager built for AI agents. Keep API keys and credentials in a vault that imports and exports KeePass files, then let agents request them through an MCP server or a plain HTTP call instead of reading a .env file.
Each agent gets its own identity and a list of secrets it may ask for. Grants can expire, every request is logged, and you can revoke an agent from your phone. Secrets are handed out per task, not pasted into prompts or repos.
It is for engineers and small teams running several agents against many services who have outgrown .env files and password managers made for humans. This is a proposal; demand still has to be tested.

- Why this name
- A keyring holds many keys; the hand is the act of passing one to someone for a moment. That matches handing agents credentials per task.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
MCP server built in
Agents fetch credentials through a native MCP server, so any MCP-capable agent can ask for a secret as a tool call.

KeePass import and export
Bring in an existing KeePass database and export it back out. Your team keeps a familiar format and avoids lock-in.

Per-agent identities
Every agent has its own token and an allow-list of secrets. Remove one agent without rotating everything.

Short-lived grants
Approve access for one task or a set time. Grants expire on their own, so a leaked token is worth little.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Reaches customers through developer content, open examples and MCP directories. Users do not naturally send output to others, so there is no built-in loop beyond teammates being invited to a shared vault.
- Do they become customers?
- Teammates invited to a vault are engineers who could become buyers, but this needs testing. Test whether solo users bring in a team and upgrade within 60 days.
- First customers
- Small engineering teams of 3 to 15 people building internal AI agents that call several paid APIs, led by a platform or lead engineer.
- Where to reach them
- GitHub and MCP directories: Publish an open example MCP server and a .env migration guide, linking to the hosted product.
- Developer communities: Post practical write-ups on agent credential leaks and share a free solo tier in agent-builder forums.
- First milestone
- Ten teams connect at least two agents each, and five of them pay for the Team tier within 90 days.
Why people already pay for this
- VerifiedGitHub repository gained 429 stars in 51 days
- Public claimPassword and secrets managers need to support AI agent workflows
- AI inferenceThe market includes support for MCP servers as a delivery mechanism for agent integration

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalHolding other teams' secrets makes security the whole product. A flaw in encryption or access checks would end trust, and a first version needs an outside review.
- CommercialTeams may keep using .env files or add agent features to tools they already pay for. Willingness to pay for a new vault is unproven.
- PlatformMCP is young and its authorization patterns may change, which could force rework of the agent interface.
- AIA prompt-injected agent can still misuse a secret it was legitimately granted. Short grants and scopes reduce but do not remove this.
- Intellectual propertyKeePass is a compatibility target; the name and file format use must be checked so the product does not imply endorsement.
