About this appAI proposal
Tomoshi is a customer relationship tool built only for LINE Official Accounts. It keeps friends, tags, conversations, step messages, broadcasts, forms and reservations in one place, and it can run on infrastructure you control, so customer data stays with you.
It is made for small and mid-size teams in markets where LINE is the main channel: shops, clinics, salons, schools and agencies. Set up a step sequence, send a segmented broadcast, take a booking from a form, and see who replied, without stitching tools together.
Tomoshi follows LINE's own model of friends, rich menus and reply tokens instead of treating LINE as an add-on. Self-host it or choose managed hosting. A documented API and an MCP server let your own scripts and AI tools connect.

- Why this name
- Tomoshi echoes the Japanese idea of a small light being lit. It is short, easy to say and suggests warmth in customer chat.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Forms and booking links are opened by customers inside LINE. Each booking page and form can carry a small 'made with Tomoshi' line that businesses may remove on paid plans.
- Do they become customers?
- Customers who book only see the footer; they rarely run a LINE account. Test whether other business owners among them ask about it, and whether the footer brings any inquiries.
- First customers
- Independent salons and clinics in Japan with 1 to 10 staff that run a LINE Official Account and take bookings by chat.
- Where to reach them
- GitHub and developer communities: Offer a free self-hosted version and a deploy guide to reach agencies who set up LINE accounts for clients.
- LINE agencies: Pitch web and marketing agencies in Japan a reseller license for the clients they manage.
- First milestone
- Five paying customers in one vertical, such as salons, within 90 days of launch.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformLINE can change its API, message limits or plan rules, which could break features or the cost of sending broadcasts.
- CommercialEvidence is only repository interest (603 stars); it does not show that teams will pay for a license or hosting.
- TechnicalSupporting customer self-hosting across environments raises setup and upgrade effort, and support costs for a small team.
- RegulatoryCustomer chat data falls under privacy laws such as Japan's APPI; managed hosting makes us responsible for that data.
- CommercialAn open-source project may already offer similar features free, which weakens willingness to pay.
