ScreensConcept
Desktop and mobile: Task planning and wiki editing happen at a desk, but checking off tasks and quick lookups happen on phones—both platforms carry real work. Sample screens on a computer and a phone, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Tallyhut is a task tracker and wiki for solo developers and small teams. You deploy it to your own Cloudflare account in a few guided steps, and your data stays there. There is no per-seat subscription.
It keeps to the basics: lists, a board, tasks linked to wiki pages, and search. It installs as a PWA on phone and desktop, so you do not depend on a local app with quirks you have to work around.
Setup is the product: one guided deploy, one export button, one short settings page. Features you do not need stay out of the way. A hosted option is there for people who would rather not run it themselves.

- Why this name
- A tally counts tasks; a hut is a small shelter you own. Together they suggest a modest place of your own for your work.

Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Guided one-account deploy
A step-by-step setup puts Tallyhut on your own Cloudflare account and checks each part works before you move on.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Users invite others. Each team owner invites teammates by link to work in the same instance. Invitees see the product name on the sign-in page and in the footer of shared pages.
- Do they become customers?
- Invitees mostly join an instance someone else hosts, so they may not become customers. Test whether invitees go on to deploy their own copy or buy hosted.
- First customers
- Solo developers and teams of two to ten engineers who already use Cloudflare and pay for a task tracker they find too heavy.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News: Post a Show HN with a deploy walkthrough, as the source discussion came from there.
- Cloudflare developer community: Share a template and tutorial in the Cloudflare Discord and forums.
- Open-source repo: Publish the repo with a deploy button and a clear README to collect early users.
- First milestone
- Fifty deployed instances and five paying hosted or add-on customers within 60 days of launch.

RisksAI inference
- CommercialThe core is free and open source. Few self-hosters may pay for hosting or add-ons, and the evidence shows only 17 points and no comments on the post.
- PlatformThe product depends on Cloudflare free-tier limits and terms, which can change and may not fit heavier teams.
- TechnicalOffline sync and conflict handling on a Workers and D1 stack can be hard to get right, especially for wiki edits.
- CommercialMany free self-hosted task and wiki tools may already exist. Tallyhut must prove that simpler deployment is enough reason to switch.
- DataSelf-hosters hold their own data, so backups and upgrades fall to them. A bad upgrade could lose data and harm trust.
