About this appAI proposal
Roomkeep is a video meeting app for organizations that want to own their infrastructure and data. You deploy it on your own server with a guided installer, and people join from the browser or as an installed web app on phone or desktop.
It covers everyday needs: team rooms, screen sharing, file sharing, webinars and live streams to an audience. An admin console shows server health, storage and access in plain words.
It is different because setup and upkeep are the product. Updates, certificates, relay servers and capacity checks live in one console, so a small IT team can run it without becoming video specialists.

- Why this name
- Two plain words: a room you keep. It points to owning the space and the data, without echoing any meeting product name.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Guided server install
Point it at a fresh server and a domain. The installer sets up media, relay and certificates, then tests that calls connect.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Hosts send meeting and webinar links to guests, who join in the browser and see the host organization's own domain with a small 'Run by Roomkeep' note on the join page.
- Do they become customers?
- Guests are mostly outsiders who only join once. Test whether IT staff at guest organizations who see the join page ask to run their own; expect this to be low.
- First customers
- IT managers at European organizations of 50 to 300 people that must keep meeting data in-house, such as clinics, law firms and municipal bodies.
- Where to reach them
- Self-hosting communities: Post install guides and a capacity-planning write-up where people who run their own servers ask for help.
- Direct outreach: Contact IT leads in clinics and small public bodies with an offer of a supervised pilot install.
- Comparison content: Publish cost comparisons against paid plans using public prices, aimed at people searching for alternatives.
- First milestone
- Five organizations in one vertical each pay for the Team tier after a two-week pilot on their own server.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalCall quality across firewalls, mobile networks and large webinars is hard; poor quality on a customer's own server will be blamed on the product.
- CommercialFree open-source options exist, and buyers may choose to build their own. The value must be in easier install and upkeep, which needs proof.
- PlatformBrowsers on phones limit background audio, screen capture and notifications in installed web apps, which can weaken the mobile experience.
- RegulatoryRecording and storing meetings brings consent and retention rules that differ by country and fall on the customer.
- CommercialSupport load is high when each customer runs different servers, which could erode margins at low prices.
