About this appAI proposal
Rankwire is a hosted SEO data connector for AI agents. It exposes keyword research, domain analytics and backlink analysis as an MCP server and a command-line tool, so Claude Desktop, Cursor or your own scripts can ask for SEO data without exports or copy-paste.
It is for SEO professionals, marketers and developers who already work with agents and want research to run inside those workflows. A web dashboard handles keys, usage and saved reports, and installs as a PWA.
Unlike a full SEO suite, Rankwire sells data access and automation, not a dashboard you must live in. The connector code is open so you can inspect it, and paid plans cover hosting, higher limits and support.

RisksAI inference
- DataSEO keyword and backlink data is costly to license or collect. If provider terms forbid resale or agent use, margins or the product itself may fail.
- CommercialOpen-source alternatives are free, so users may self-host and never pay. The paid value must be hosting, limits and support.
- PlatformThe product depends on MCP and on clients like Claude Desktop and Cursor, whose protocol, plans or policies may change.
- TechnicalAgents may issue many repeated queries and run up data costs. Caching and per-key caps are needed from day one.
- Intellectual propertyScraping a commercial SEO platform could breach its terms. Data must come from sources that allow this use.
