ScreensConcept
Desktop and mobile: Developers check limits and plan coding sessions at a desk, but also need phone alerts and handoff briefs while working away from the computer to know when to switch models mid-session. Sample screens on a computer and a phone, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Stintkeep is a session companion for developers who code with AI assistants and keep hitting usage limits. You log or connect your subscriptions and API keys, and it shows how much of each window is left and when it resets, so you can plan a work block instead of being cut off in the middle of one.
When a limit is close, Stintkeep writes a handoff brief: the goal, the files touched, the failing tests and the next step. You paste it into another model and carry on. It also keeps a personal scorecard per workflow, such as TDD, so you can see which model and provider combination worked for you.
It is built for individual developers and freelancers who spend roughly $20 to $50 a month on coding models. It does not replace your assistant. It sits beside it, so your work is not organised around someone else's limits.

- Why this name
- A stint is a spell of work. Keep says the spell stays whole: you keep your context, your flow and your budget when a limit arrives.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Limit clock for every model you use
See remaining usage and reset time per subscription or API key in one view. Manual logging covers plans with no usage API.

Handoff brief in one tap
Turn the current task into a short brief with goal, changed files, failing tests and next step, ready to paste into any other model.

Work block planner
Pick a task and Stintkeep estimates whether it fits the window left, or suggests a stopping point before the limit hits.

Workflow scorecards
Rate each session for TDD, refactors or debugging. Over time you see which model suits which job, from your own data.

PricingAI proposal
The material gives no verified competitor prices. Tiers sit inside the $15-40 per month range in the opportunity's monetization idea, and the $20-50 budget a developer mentioned. A starting point to test.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Reached through developer communities, content and search. Scorecards and briefs stay private by default, so use does not reach others unless an optional share link for a scorecard is added.
- Do they become customers?
- No built-in loop. To test: whether developers who find it through posts will pay after a free trial, and whether a shareable scorecard drives any signups.
- First customers
- Solo freelance developers who pay for one AI coding subscription and spend up to $50 a month on models, and who talk about limits in public forums.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News: Post a Show HN and reply in limit threads with a free tool, like the one that drew this evidence.
- Developer subreddits: Share a free limit-planner page in AI coding communities and offer the full app to those who ask.
- Developer newsletters: Pitch a short piece on planning work around session limits, linking to the free tier.
- First milestone
- Ten paying Solo subscribers within 60 days of launch, from freelance developers, with at least half using handoff briefs weekly.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformSubscription plans may expose no usage data, so the limit clock for them relies on manual logging or estimates, which may feel less useful than hoped.
- PlatformProviders may change limits or terms, or ship their own usage and handoff features, making the product redundant.
- CommercialThe evidence is a single Hacker News thread of public claims. Willingness to pay $15 or more for a tracker is unproven.
- DataHandoff briefs may contain private code details. Storing API keys and briefs creates a security duty, so briefs should stay local or be stored encrypted.
- AIA generated brief may drop key context, so the next model takes a wrong turn. Users need to review it before pasting.
