About this appAI proposal
Preheat gets your games ready before you launch them. A small Windows helper builds shaders ahead of time for NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, so the driver is not compiling them mid-fight. The Preheat app on your phone or browser shows what is ready, what is running and what still needs a warm-up.
It is made for PC gamers on Windows who play DirectX 12 and other games that compile shaders while you play. Today that means putting up with stutter or adjusting driver and game settings by hand. Preheat keeps a profile per game and redoes the work after a driver or game update.
Every game gets a plain before-and-after stutter report, so you can see whether the warm-up helped instead of guessing.

- Why this name
- Like preheating an oven, the work happens before you need it. One plain word, easy to say and remember.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Warm up before launch
Pre-build shaders for a chosen game so the first minutes of play are not spent compiling them.

NVIDIA and AMD aware
The helper detects your GPU and driver and handles each vendor's cache on its own terms.

Per-game profiles
Keep separate settings per game: graphics API, quality preset and what to rebuild after updates.

Rebuild after updates
Preheat notices a new driver or game version, marks the cache stale and queues a fresh warm-up.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Users share read-only before-and-after stutter reports in game forums, Discord servers and threads about a specific game. Each report carries the product name and a link to try it.
- Do they become customers?
- Viewers are gamers with the same problem, so they can become customers. Test how many report-link visitors install the helper and how many of those reach three warmed games.
- First customers
- Windows PC gamers with NVIDIA or AMD GPUs who play DirectX 12 games and already discuss stutter in community forums.
- Where to reach them
- Game and PC performance forums: Post measured before-and-after reports for a few specific games and invite testers.
- Discord servers for single games: Offer the free tier to players in servers where stutter is a common complaint.
- GitHub shader tool community: Reach users of the open source tool who want a simpler app, profiles and scheduling.
- First milestone
- 200 helper installs and 20 paying Plus users from two game communities within 60 days.
Why people already pay for this

- Public claimThe tool compiles shaders ahead of time to eliminate in-game stutter caused by shader compilation.
- Public claimThe tool supports Windows with NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, indicating these are the primary target platforms where shader compilation stutter is a problem.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalPre-building shaders into NVIDIA and AMD driver caches may not be possible for every game or driver version, and results could differ a lot between titles.
- PlatformDrivers, anti-cheat systems or game launchers may block or flag a helper that touches caches or launches games. This needs testing.
- CommercialGamers may expect this free, as the GitHub project that shows interest is open source. Paid features need to add clear value.
- TechnicalA PWA alone cannot do the work. A native Windows helper adds install, signing and update work to a small team.
- DataStutter reports depend on accurate frame-time capture. Weak measurements would undermine trust in the before-and-after claim.
