About this appAI proposal
Slotline is a posting queue for creators, social media managers and small marketing teams. Write a post once, adapt it for each channel, pick time slots, and it publishes for you. It installs as a web app on your phone or desktop.
You can run it yourself on your own server for free, or use the hosted version if you would rather not look after it. Either way your content, tokens and calendar stay in an account you control, and you can export everything.
Cost is the gap the material points to in paid schedulers. Slotline's hosted plans are priced below the mid-range plans listed there, and the self-hosted edition has no per-channel fees.

- Why this name
- A slot is a time in the queue, a line is the queue itself. Two plain words that say what the product does: put posts in order.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
One composer, many channels
Write once, then tweak text, media and links per channel before queuing. Previews show each channel's limits.

Recurring time slots
Define weekly slots per channel. New posts fall into the next free slot, or you can pick an exact time.

Shared calendar and approvals
Teams see all scheduled posts in one calendar. Editors draft, a reviewer approves, then it goes out.

Self-host or hosted
Deploy on your own infrastructure with the same features as the hosted plan, or let us run it for you.

Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Slotline reaches customers through content, open-source repository visibility and search. Published posts do not carry its name, so use does not bring in new people by itself.
- Do they become customers?
- Self-hosters who find it may never pay. Test how many convert from the free edition to a hosted plan, and whether people who dislike running servers choose hosted.
- First customers
- Solo creators and small agencies of 1 to 5 people who run 4 or more channels and pay for a scheduler today.
- Where to reach them
- GitHub and open-source forums: Publish the self-host repo and a guide for people comparing free schedulers to paid ones.
- Creator communities: Offer a migration walkthrough from paid schedulers in creator and freelance community groups.
- First milestone
- Ten paying hosted customers from the creator and small-agency group within 60 days of launch.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformEach social network controls API access, rate limits and app review. Changes or rejections could break publishing to a channel, and self-hosters must register their own apps.
- CommercialOpen-source alternatives already exist, including Postiz. A free self-hosted edition may keep most users from paying for the hosted plans.
- TechnicalReliable scheduled publishing, token refresh and media handling across many channels is more work than the core UI suggests.
- Intellectual propertyIf built on or near an existing open-source project, its license terms must be checked before choosing a licence and pricing.
