About this appAI proposal
Fitpage turns one master career profile into a resume and cover letter shaped to each job posting. Paste a job description, review what the app matched, and export a clean document. A language model on your own device, or on a model server you control, does the writing, so your history is not sent to a third-party writing service.
It is built for people applying to many roles who do not want to pay per document or hand over their work history. Every sentence in a draft links back to a line in your profile, so you can see what came from you and remove anything you cannot stand behind.
Your profile stays in your browser storage by default. Fitpage works offline once set up and does not cap how many applications you tailor.

- Why this name
- Fit is what tailoring does; page is what you hand over. Two plain words, easy to say and spell.

Worth about
$194,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Resumes and letters go to recruiters and hiring managers. Free-tier exports could carry a small optional footer line, and coaches share templates and profiles with clients who then use the app.
- Do they become customers?
- Recruiters who open a document are not job seekers, so exposure there is weak. Test whether coach-to-client invites convert clients into free users and then paying Seekers.
- First customers
- Software and data professionals applying to 20 or more roles who care about privacy, plus independent career coaches serving them.
- Where to reach them
- GitHub and self-hosting forums: Reach people already interested in local-model resume tools with a hosted, easier option and a setup guide.
- Tech job-search communities: Offer free tailoring in subreddits and Discords for laid-off tech workers, asking for feedback.
- Independent career coaches: Offer coaches a free month of the Coach tier in return for using it with real clients.
- First milestone
- Fifty active free users and ten paying Seekers within eight weeks, with a quarter of drafts exported.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalIn-browser models need WebGPU and several gigabytes of download; many phones and older laptops will be slow or unsupported, and small models may write weak prose.
- CommercialA related open-source repository is free to self-host, so users may not pay for a hosted PWA. The paid value over it must be tested.
- AIModels can invent achievements. Source-linked sentences reduce this, but users may still send unchecked claims in applications.
- CommercialJob seekers stop using the product once hired, so retention is short and subscriptions may churn quickly.
- PlatformConnecting a PWA to a local model server depends on browser rules about local network access, which differ between browsers and may change.
