ScreensConcept
Desktop and mobile: Inspectors monitor robot runs from phones in the field while supervisors define routes and review audit-ready reports at their desks. Sample screens on a computer and a phone, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Walkline is an application layer that turns a written inspection procedure into a task a mobile robot can run. Radiological surveys, leak detection and repair rounds and instrument checks are defined once as routes, positions and sensor pass or fail rules.
It is built for inspectors and technicians at nuclear, oil, gas and chemical sites who now walk routes and record readings by hand. Walkline keeps people out of hazardous areas while they stay in charge of the procedure and the sign-off.
Unlike tools that only count a robot as done when it reaches a pose, Walkline marks a step complete only when the sensor data confirms it. Failed steps are retried or flagged for a person. It is a proposal, not a shipped product.

- Why this name
- Walkline names the survey route a technician walks and a robot now repeats. Two plain words, easy to say on a radio or in a plant meeting.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Procedure to robot task
Write an inspection as ordered steps with positions, tool placement and tolerances. Walkline maps them onto the robot's own capabilities.

Sensor-verified completion
A step passes only when the instrument reading meets its rule, not when the robot reaches a pose. Misses are retried or escalated.

Survey route library
Reusable templates for contamination surveys, LDAR rounds and gauge readings that a site can copy and adjust.

Human sign-off queue
Ambiguous readings and judgment calls go to an inspector with photo, audio and sensor data attached for a decision.

PricingAI proposal
The material gives no competitor price. Tiers follow the public claim of paid validations from tens of thousands, then per-robot deployments of up to about $500k. Deployment is quoted per workflow; test all figures.

What it could be worthEstimate

Worth about
$194,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Each completed run produces an inspection report with readings, sensor evidence and sign-off that is sent to site managers, auditors and regulators' contacts outside the product.
- Do they become customers?
- Report readers are mostly reviewers, not buyers. Test whether a plant's safety or reliability managers who receive reports ask for a pilot, since purchases are made by direct sales.
- First customers
- Radiation protection and survey leads at a few nuclear or chemical sites that already own or lease a capable legged or wheeled robot and run weekly routine surveys.
- Where to reach them
- Direct outreach: Email and call radiation protection and reliability managers with a one-route validation offer.
- Robot integrators: Partner with integrators who deploy robot hardware at industrial sites and lack inspection software.
- Industry events: Show a recorded verified run at nuclear and process safety conferences.
- First milestone
- Two paid technical validations at separate sites, each completing one real route with sensor-verified results.
Why people already pay for this
- VerifiedHacker News post received 49 points and 31 comments
- Public claimRobot hardware capability increased significantly, but making robots execute complete industrial inspection procedures still requires substantial robotics work and manual intervention.
- Public claimInspection tasks like nuclear contamination surveys, LDAR inspections, and instrument positioning require precise manipulation constraints that are difficult for robots to execute reliably.
- Public claimManual inspection workflows remain prevalent in sophisticated industrial sites despite available advanced sensors and computation.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalRobot arms and sensors differ by vendor. Reliable placement of probes in tight spots may need custom work per site, stretching the estimated build time.
- RegulatoryNuclear and chemical sites need safety cases and approval before autonomous robots are used. Sales cycles may be long.
- PlatformDepends on hardware makers' SDKs and access. They could change terms or build inspection applications themselves.
- CommercialFew buyers with high prices means a small number of deals. Pilots may not convert into deployment licenses.
- AISemantic perception can misjudge scenes. Wrong passes in a safety inspection are costly, so human review and checks must be strong.
