About this appAI proposal
Hearth Notes listens to the Slack channels you choose and keeps what matters: decisions, how-tos, owners and open questions. Each item links back to the thread it came from, so people can check the source before they act.
Ask in plain words, such as 'why did we pick that vendor?', and get an answer with the original messages. When a pattern repeats, like a weekly handover, Hearth Notes drafts the task and waits for one click of approval.
It is built for small and mid-size teams that run work in Slack and keep losing context as channels scroll. Nothing runs without a human approving it, and every action is logged.

Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformSlack API rate limits and terms on storing or processing message data may restrict history backfill and indexing, and could change.
- AIWrong or outdated answers could mislead the team; citations and approve-first actions reduce but do not remove this.
- DataIndexing private conversations raises privacy and retention concerns; buyers may demand strict controls before installing.
- CommercialSlack may add similar native features, and an open-source reference exists, so a paid product must prove clear extra value.
- RegulatoryStoring employee messages may trigger data protection duties such as deletion requests and processor agreements.
