About this appAI proposal
Haildesk turns member questions in Discord into tracked tickets. A member presses a button, a private ticket opens, and your team answers there or from a web inbox that works on a phone. Built for server admins and community managers who run help desks, applications or member inquiries.
The material says popular ticket bots charge for premium and white-label plans or limit free tiers. Haildesk keeps the core free: panels, claiming, transcripts, tags and your own bot branding. You pay only if you want us to host and manage it.
This page is a proposal. The evidence is a public repository calling itself a free alternative to paid ticket bots. It shows interest in free ticketing, not yet willingness to pay for hosting.

- Why this name
- To hail is to call out for attention, and a desk is where it gets answered. Two plain words, easy to say in a server.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Ticket panels
Post a button or menu in any channel. Each choice opens a private ticket with its own questions, staff roles and category.

Claim, assign and close
Staff claim tickets, hand them over, set priority and close with a reason, so nothing sits unowned.

Web inbox as a PWA
See open tickets across your servers, reply and triage from your phone without opening Discord.

Transcripts and search
Closed tickets are saved as searchable transcripts, sent to the member or a log channel on close.

PricingAI proposal
The material gives no competitor prices, only that others charge for premium and white-label plans. These tiers are a starting point to test, with hosting as the paid part.

What it could be worthEstimate
What a software business making this much sells for today, from real deals. Pick a monthly revenue.

Worth about
$194,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Visible inside customers’ products. The bot runs inside servers where members see its panels and messages. Transcript emails and DMs carry a small removable footer linking to Haildesk.
- Do they become customers?
- Members who see it are often admins of other servers and could become customers. To test: how many installs come from footer clicks, and how many of those admins set up a panel.
- First customers
- Admins of mid-sized Discord servers, such as game, creator or open-source communities, that already run a ticket bot and have a team of several moderators.
- Where to reach them
- Discord admin communities: Offer help in servers for admins and bot users, and answer ticket setup questions.
- GitHub and bot lists: List the open code and a setup guide, with a migration guide from other ticket bots.
- Short tutorial videos: Show a panel set up in five minutes and the phone inbox.
- First milestone
- Ten servers running live panels for 30 days, and three paying for hosting.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformDiscord can change its API, rate limits or message-content rules, which could break transcripts and reading messages in tickets.
- CommercialA free, open alternative already exists, so paying for hosting may not be worth it to most admins.
- DataTranscripts hold member messages. Retention, deletion on request and privacy rules need care.
- TechnicalKeeping the bot online and consistent across many servers needs sharding and monitoring, which raises support load.
