About this appAI proposal
Rackfront is a storefront for small hosting providers and resellers. Customers pick a plan, pay by card through Stripe, and get an account with their services, invoices and renewals in one place.
It is built around hosting products: plans, VPS sizes and server resources, not generic shop items. When an order is paid, Rackfront sends a provisioning request to your own server tooling through a webhook and tracks whether it worked.
It does not tie you to one hosting platform or control panel. You keep your servers and your customer relationship, and you avoid writing and maintaining your own billing code.

- Why this name
- A rack holds servers; a front is the shop window. Two plain words joined: the storefront for server businesses.

PricingAI proposal
The material gives no competitor prices. Tiers are a starting point to test; a small transaction fee on top of Stripe's could replace or add to subscriptions.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Each provider's storefront and checkout is public. Customers and resellers see a small 'Billing by Rackfront' line on the shop, invoices and portal.
- Do they become customers?
- Shop visitors are hosting customers, not providers, so exposure mostly will not convert. Resellers who sell on top of a provider's plans might become paying users; test that.
- First customers
- Solo and small-team VPS and web hosting providers with under 500 customers, who bill by hand or with scripts.
- Where to reach them
- GitHub and open-source communities: Reach users of open-source hosting webshops and offer a hosted option with migration help.
- Hosting forums: Answer billing and provisioning questions in provider and reseller forums and share a demo storefront.
- First milestone
- Five hosting providers each take paid orders through a live storefront within 60 days.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalEvery provider runs different server tooling, so generic webhooks may not be enough and per-panel connectors could grow into a large maintenance load.
- CommercialFree open-source webshops for hosting businesses exist, so providers may prefer self-hosting over paying for a hosted service.
- RegulatorySelling across borders brings VAT and sales tax duties on invoices that providers expect the tool to handle.
- PlatformStripe account rules for resellers and recurring hosting charges could limit or delay payouts for some customers.
- DataStored customer data and server credentials make the product a security target; a breach would be fatal to trust.
