About this appAI proposal
Fullreel is a web app that shows only the long videos from the YouTube channels you follow. Shorts never appear. You pick your channels, set a minimum length, and get a calm queue. Videos open in YouTube, where your Premium account still removes the ads.
It is made for people who pay for YouTube and still feel pushed toward Shorts. Public posts in the material describe one subscriber who cancelled Premium over Shorts and another who would resume paying if Shorts could be disabled. These are public claims, not verified figures.
Fullreel does not replace YouTube. It is a quieter front door: a feed with no Shorts shelf, no autoplay into short clips, and a watch-later list that holds only what you chose.

- Why this name
- A full reel is the whole film, not a clip. The name says you get the complete videos and nothing cut short.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
No Shorts, ever
Shorts are detected and dropped from your feed. A weekly count shows how many were hidden.

Minimum length rule
Set a floor such as 10 minutes, globally or per channel, so quick clips stay out too.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Fullreel reaches customers through content, communities and search. Videos open in YouTube, so nothing carries the Fullreel name to other people.
- Do they become customers?
- Test whether people who left or doubt YouTube Premium over Shorts will pay for a companion feed, and whether free Shorts-hiding extensions satisfy them instead.
- First customers
- Adult YouTube Premium subscribers who follow 30 or more long-form channels, such as learning, craft and talk channels, and who complain about Shorts online.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and Reddit threads: Answer posts about Shorts frustration with a free tool and a short demo, following each community's rules.
- Newsletter and creator mentions: Offer free Plus to long-form creators and newsletter writers who may share it with their viewers.
- First milestone
- Fifty free signups in a month, then ten of them paying for Plus within 60 days.
Why people already pay for this
- Public claimSubscriber willing to resume paid YouTube Premium if Shorts could be disabled
- Public claimUser cancelled YouTube Premium specifically to reduce appeal of platform due to Shorts

RisksAI inference
- PlatformYouTube API terms, quota limits or policy changes could restrict showing channel feeds outside YouTube. Terms need a legal read before launch.
- TechnicalTelling Shorts from short normal videos is imperfect. Wrong calls would hide wanted videos or let Shorts through.
- CommercialYouTube could add its own Shorts switch, removing the need. Users also still pay for Premium separately and may not pay twice.
- CommercialFree browser extensions already hide Shorts, so people may not pay for a separate app.
- PlatformThe app cannot change YouTube itself. Home and recommendations inside YouTube still show Shorts when users open it directly.
