About this appAI proposal
Patchwise connects multi-zone robotic mowers to the home automation you already run. It lists your mower's zones with their IDs and names, then lets an automation start one chosen zone instead of the whole lawn.
Built for Home Assistant users with mowers such as the Navimow H800, who today open the manufacturer's app to pick zones. Weather, schedule and geofence triggers can decide which patch gets mowed. Each zone gets its own status, progress and last-completed sensors.
The first target is Navimow. Other brands depend on what their cloud access allows.

- Why this name
- A lawn is a patchwork of zones, and 'wise' suggests mowing that responds to weather and presence. Plain, pronounceable, two syllables of meaning.

Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Zone discovery
Lists every zone on your mower with its ID and name, and refreshes when you change zones in the manufacturer's app.

Mow one zone on command
A service call with a zone parameter starts exactly the zone you choose. Chain several zones in order.

Per-zone sensors
Status, progress and last-completed timestamp for each zone, usable in dashboards and automation conditions.

Worth about
$194,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Users run it privately inside their own smart home. Growth comes from forum posts, shared automation snippets and answers on the open request, not from product use.
- Do they become customers?
- Exposure is not the issue; reach is. Test whether people who comment on the open request will pay, and whether free-tier users move to Plus.
- First customers
- Home Assistant users who own a multi-zone Navimow mower, especially those already commenting on the open integration request.
- Where to reach them
- Open GitHub request: Reply with a demo of per-zone control and offer early access to those who reacted or commented.
- Home Assistant forums: Post a walkthrough with a sample rain-and-presence automation for one zone.
- Mower owner communities: Share a short video of zone-specific mowing triggered by weather.
- First milestone
- Ten Navimow owners run it for two weeks and five pay for Plus or Lifetime.

- Public claimUsers with multi-zone Navimow mowers cannot select specific zones through Home Assistant automations.
- Public claimCurrent Home Assistant integration for Navimow only supports full-lawn or dock commands, not zone selection.
- Public claimUsers must use the Navimow mobile app as a workaround for zone selection.

- This app · Mower cloud connectorService that talks to the mower maker's cloudZone lists and commands must come from the mower's own cloud interface, which needs per-brand adapters.
- This app · Home Assistant bridgeCustom integration plus webhook/API linkEntities and services must appear inside Home Assistant, which a web app alone cannot do.
RisksAI inference
- PlatformThe mower maker may offer no stable public interface for zone commands, or may change or block it. Patchwise could break or depend on unofficial access.
- CommercialHome Assistant users expect free community integrations. Willingness to pay for a bridge is unproven, and the maker could add zone control itself.
- TechnicalZone lists, progress and status may not be exposed reliably by the mower, so per-zone sensors could be partial or delayed.
- Intellectual propertyUsing a maker's cloud access may breach its terms of service, and brand names must be handled carefully in marketing.
